The Vision

Our Vision is to:

• Become a powerful voice and lobby to improve the City Centre at a local, regional and national level

• Develop a meaningful vision, strategy and action plan with partners for the long term growth and sustainability of Wolverhampton City Centre

• Develop the Patron & Partners scheme into a fully representative body and to engage and involve City Centre businesses and stakeholders

• Work with partners, developers and property agents to attract new investment, create and safeguard jobs by providing information and advice

• Assist in the promotion of Wolverhampton as a place of cultural diversity to shop, work, visit, live, enjoy and study

• Develop beneficial links with influential organisations to represent the Patrons & Partners and ensure connectivity and collaboration across the wide range of issues that affect the City Centre

• Improve the perception of the City Centre through the media with positive images, messages and branding and through entering and winning competitions and awards

• Engage with key stakeholders, businesses and community groups to inform, advise and consult on City Centre matters

• Work with partners to improve the City Centre's environment and safety through representation on stakeholder groups and the development of strategies and action plans, including the management of the Radio Link scheme

• Ensure that the city centre can be accessed conveniently and safely and to promote the use of sustainable transport

• Seek funding and develop new projects and initiatives for the benefit of the City Centre around marketing, the environment safety and access

• Identify new opportunities and assist with the co-ordination and delivery of major events to attract people into the City Centre
