CityStyle 2011

The return of CityStyle to the city’s shopping centres saw over a thousand people attend Wolverhampton City Centre’s second fashion and style event.

The Mander and Wulfrun Centres were bejazzled with catwalk fashion shows, beauty and hair demonstrations, mini-health checks and giveaways, with 107.7 the Wolf in attendance to keep shoppers informed and entertained.

           

Top stylists from Francesco Group Wolverhampton and Ultimate Hairdressing offered live hair styling demos in the CityStyle Arena to show all the tricks for gorgeous hair this autumn and tips on party hair for the forthcoming festive season.  Consultants from top beauty house Boots No 7 offered free cosmetic makeovers, skincare advice and how to get the latest looks for day and evening to members of the public.  Complexions Gym relaxed and massaged shoppers enabling them to carry on shopping for longer!

           

New for 2011, the StyleHub, situated on the Lower Floor Mander Centre, gave shoppers the chance to try a host of beauty and hair tasters, along with relaxation therapies and much more.

 Equinox Therapy Centre offered relaxation therapies, massages, colour therapy, make-up and beauty demonstrations.  Regis Hair & Beauty Salon provided expert hair styling along with advice on leading hair care product lines.  Rejuvenate beauty gave CityStyle visitors the chance to sample fantastic new 'Minx nails' in addition to shellac and acrylic nail treatments.

Richard & Co Hairdressers gave tips and advice on hair care as well as demonstrating how to change your style with hair-ups, straightening and curling. R J Hair Design showed how hair extensions and hair pieces can change your look in an instant.

Complexions Gym gave fitness demonstrations and health check awareness sessions, encouraging shoppers to take charge of their health by getting a free blood pressure check and bmi check then have a go at free sample exercise session on the spin bike.
